HERE IS HOW TO CONTACT MICHAEL J. DANBERRY WITH YOUR WINDOWS QUESTION

If you are a Mac user, go to this page to ask your question  (Please do NOT use the form below for Mac questions unless you are having problems with Parallels, VMware, VirtualBox, or Bootcamp)

Please complete all form fields and input the correct information into the form below.  My intent is to reply to you with the correct ideas for you to fix the problem(s) you are having.  I may steer you in the wrong direction if you provide incorrect information.  When you leave boxes blank, I have to reply asking you the same questions that were ignored, this reduces my time to help other people.  Here are examples of the 2 most common CAC types / models.

Gemalto 144 CAC

A large share of the questions I receive can be corrected by you trying these ideas first:

1.  Webpage cannot be displayed / Error 403 / problems accessing AKO or other DoD websites.  Follow this guidance in your Internet Explorer.  If you are a Firefox user, look at the Firefox page, specifically #2.

2.  Army Users:  Receive "No host application was found on this computer.  Please install the host application before installing ApproveIt Desktop" when installing ApproveIt 6.5.  Look here for information / cure

3.  If you have an Oberthur ID One 128 v5.5 Dual or V5.2a Dual CAC and it does not appear to be working with your Windows computer you will need to install ActivClient 6.2.0.50, AND then update it to at least 6.2.0.119.  The base ActivClient 6.2.0.50 will not read your new CAC without it being updated (except on XP sometimes and very few Windows 7 computers).  This has also been found to cure the "circling" of AKO webmail2 when trying to open it.

4.  If you have an SCR-331 USB CAC reader, and have NOT updated the firmware, go here for instructions.

PLEASE COMPLETE THIS FORM FOR Windows SUPPORT
